Monthly Event
These events are scored using the Stableford format. Members' handicaps are updated throughout the year based on previous results of the Monthly Events.
To enable a fair comparison between golfers of varying ability, prizes are given for the winners of three divisions. Division 3 consists of handicaps 25.5 and above, Division 2 is 25.4 to 18.5 and Division 1 is 18.4 and below. A trophy for the day is also given for the overall best points score.
Side-competitions are also held during the round for "nearest the pin" on all par 3's and "nearest the pin in 3" on one of the par 5's. Occasionally the Captain might also hold a separate competition such as "Pink Ball".
