Captain's Match Report

Well nice early start, arrived at 6.50 am an hour before breakfast to get ready for people arriving like normal, but oh doors locked still dark then a gentleman came out as I was yanking the locked doors and said "can I help you?", I said "yes, can you let me in please as breakfast in an hour", he laughed and said "sorry, no it's not opening until 9 am for your breakfast and your tee time 10 am". 😂😂 never mind Tim I forgive you 😂😂 but it was dark and cold.
Once in and warmed up the breakfast was lovely and we had 29 players turn up well done. I was chuffed I was allowed to use my new buggy and play as a lot of courses are not allowing at the minute.
I played the round with Trevor, Gary and Mike and really enjoyed it even if it was a bit chilly. The course was not too bad condition but the greens where a bit poor, but overall not too bad. It was nice to have a hot shower and get in the warm, and the food afterwards was very nice, so I was very pleased with the day in total and hope you all enjoyed it.
The next golf day is Redlibbets golf club on the 21st of February 2025.
