Captain's Match Report

It was an overcast and windy day but it did not stop 31 golfers enjoying a hearty breakfast at Birchwood a course we have not played for a couple of years, this course usually produces at lot of high scores however the conditions kepted the scores down to the mid 30's, the course was in very good condition and the greens seemed a bit quick however the amount of leaves all over the place made it difficult to locate your ball if you strayed of the fairway and some time on them, the course seems to have a bit of money spent on it as the bunkers seemed to be quite deep which again made thing difficult, anyway a good day wa shad by all.
I would like to thank Dave Verga for organising the event as Tim Grimes was sunning himself in Mexico.
