Captain's Match Report
Firstly I would like to thank Ian Rowan for taken over captaincy last year st short notice and I think he has done a great job, however it's my turn next year providing I get through the vote.
36 Golfers turned up at Faversham with the weather with us again even though there was a little chill in the air, we had 6 guests this time and it was good to see Mark & Luke Moore again hopefully they will be joining again this year, I thought the course was in very good condition even though the greens had been sanded however that did not affect my putting as my score showed also Mark Parsons must have been putting just as well as he scored 40 points of 28 however that well be cut, also this was the last chance for the for the top 3 players to claim the Champions League Dave Verga, Dave Elsworth & Trevor Woods along with Tim Grimes as ref set off in the last group but from all reports none of the top 3 played well so I don't think there will be a change at the top, Peter Tweddell will be able to confirm along with cut of point before the Handicap system changes.
The next venue is at Broom Park which will be having the AGM before the Golf so if you have any point or issues you would like discussed then please send them to either Dave Verga or Peter Grey or any other member of the committee, also please remember that we will NOT be eating after the golf so if you require a meal you will have to arrange that yourself.
