Captain's Match Report
After tea/coffee and a very nice bacon roll we all set off for another beautiful day in Kent to play for the Chairmans trophy at Darenth Valley golf club. The course was once again in great condition and once again the scores reflected this with a lot of high thirties on the scorecards, but the winner on the day with a great score of 40 was captain elect Steve totty Tothill. The day finished with a nice meal and some burnt fingers from the pie dishes! Presentations were made by our chairman Peter Gray. Many thanks to Steve and Tim for checking the cards, Graham Nunn for sorting out the medals and trophies and Brian for collecting the monies. Our next meet is on the 11th September for my captains day which I hope you can all attend and also bring your partners along for the evening meal. Another email will follow soon with details of the day please also note that the 11th is the 2nd friday and not our usual 3rd of the month.
