What a good turn out for a round of Winter golf. I don't want to jinx it but are we going to make it a whole season without a cancelled round due to bad weather?!? With just some dizzily showers the course held up quite well though some of the teeing mats weren't too clever. It was nice to see lots of guests, hopefully some will become members for the upcoming new season.
Now to the results… The top ten was rounded off by Mark "The Vice" Parsons sneaking in with 28 points. Other notable scores were 9th and 8th placed Dave Elsworth and Roy Goodhew with 29 points each. These points keep the pair in the running to be crowned the Champions League winner. The Division One and 3rd placed overall was Graham Gove carding 34 points. Division Two and 2nd placed, playing to his handicap was Peter Gray (36 points). The Division Three and overall winner was me (Peter Tweddell) with 38 points.
