Captain's Match Report

After the drama of “will the course play or won't it?”, the sun came out the course dried quickly and we were off from the 10th tee, with good humour.
With 39 players attending.
The course was in very good condition despite the amount of rain we had and the greens were in fairly good order but a bit tricky to read, I thought. Hopefully the order of play suited most, I will try to accommodate any special requests if you let me know in plenty of time for the next game. There were 33 dinning and the service and quality of the food was excellent and I think we are booked to play again in April next year.

This was my last day as Captain and I have really enjoyed my year and many thanks to you all for your support. I would like to wish our new Captain elect, Pete and vice Captain Mark the very best and hope you will all continue to support them both in the coming year.

Paul Damper won with 36 points (on count back as approved by our Handicap Secretary Mark, many thanks, bad luck Chris Lewis who would have won on the order of play system)
The next Venue is Surrey National, this is also the AGM so if you have any views you need to get across to the committee this is the opportunity.
