Captain's Match Report
A good start to any golf day, a full English breakfast, then with about 40 golfers braving the cold, off we went. With about 10 people watching me tee-off I promptly topped the ball 20 yards into the water on the left, getting the biggest cheer of the morning. The course was in very good condition for the time of year and not too many bunkers. Many thanks to Ian, Scott and Gareth for the company and entertainment on the way round. About 20 stayed for dinner with good banter, a great time was had by all. Good food and good company makes a good afternoon.
