Tudor Park Golf Club - The Valentines Cup
Many thanks to Graham Nunn for being the member of Tudor Park who enabled us to negotiate a great deal. This means the savings made will go forward to fund more costly courses without the need to increase the usual rate. It's a "rolling dinner" event so normal Mags dress code need not be observed.

Captain's Match Report
After a few going, not going for poor old Mr Grimes, 28 of us arrived at Tudor Park on what turned out to be a pretty nice day considering most of us I'm sure had to scrape ice from the car windows when leaving home. It was a later start than usual so enough time to enjoy a really nice full English breakfast. Before play began the club starter pointed out to me red, white and blue flags for front, middle and back! Well we saw all the colours but all were on the front of the greens so that was a wasted chat! However because of the later start the ground thawed and I thought the course was in great condition but maybe put some double yellow lines in the new look bunkers so you can't park your trolley! Much better scores this time round came back to the clubhouse 30 points was enough to secure Paul Damper the Division 1 medal and also the order of merit for this season, well done mate you have finally done it. And a name that keeps popping up lately Dave El Verga secured 2nd and the Division 3 medal with 32 points, all I can say is retirement is suiting your game! Well done Dave. But the outright winner of the Valentines Cup and the Division 2 medal with a great score of 36 was Trevor Woods who has always been there or thereabouts throughout the season, well done Trev. A rolling meal of ham, egg and chips was had back at the clubhouse which I thought was as good as the breakfast and after, the presentations were made. I would like to thank Graham Nunn who is a Tudor Park member for arranging a great deal for us and also for going out in the final group to make sure we keep pushing forward and avoiding slow play! Only joking Graham!! Once again thank you I really enjoyed the day and hope we can return next season. Hope to see you all for The Committee Shield on the 18th March at Faversham.
