Kings Hill Golf Club - The Christmas Cup
As happens at every christmas round we have half way festivities of mince pies and port hosted by the Captain. Also after the meal we have secret santa, so if staying for dinner don't forget your present up to the value of £10.

Captain's Match Report
32 players arrived at Kings Hill to play for the Christmas Cup but unfortunately due to the heavy rain the night before buggies were not allowed on the course so some members had to drop out. Despite the previous night's rain the course was in its usual great condition. Play started from the 10th with refreshments of port and brandy, mince pies and sausage rolls waiting for players at the clubhouse before they played the front 9. Apologies from myself for not dishing out the grog but duty called and I had to carry on. Once again some good scores came back. A very good 34 points playing off 11 for Roy Goodhew, 2nd place went to Graham Gove with an almost unbeatable 38 points but for the 2nd time in a row the day was won by Paul Damper with 39. I had the pleasure of being in Paul's group and all I can say is you could see it was going to be his day as he must have 1 putted 6 or 7 times and from any distance you care to name. This is where I left you folks as I had to go to work and was not there for the meal and presentations. All there is left for me to say on behalf of myself and the MAGS committee, we wish you all a great Christmas and a happy new year and hope to see all in 2016 for the Len Hall Trophy at The Ridge on the 15th January.
